  Psychotherapy

berkeley, California

My work and intention is to support my clients and community in their liberation so that we can all live life more fully.

I’m a California  Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I’m also a person that cares deeply about the world- about the ecological health of the planet and about the general well being of the animals, plants and humans that cohabitate our home. My work and how I live my life is in service to the betterment of humanity on an individual and on a collective level. As a psychotherapist it is my goal to support you in your healing and evolution. Healing of one contributes to healing of the whole.

  • Somatic therapy

    Somatic

Somatic psychotherapy considers the interrelation of our experiences on a bodily and psyche level. What we experience and how we experience it- how we move through the world is all related to the formation of our body-mind. I approach all of my work with this lens and understanding.

  • DBT Skills

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is grounded in mindfulness and offers specific skills and interventions that can be learned and integrated to support and improve your emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and your approach to relating with others or interpersonal effectiveness. DBT is an evidence based practice that I integrate and reference in my psychotherapeutic work.

  • EMDR Therapy

    EMDR

I offer Attachment Focused EMDR as a treatment modality for processing and resolving trauma, emotional pain, and maladaptive patterns. EMDR is an evidence based practice for the treatment of PTSD.

  • Identity & Race

What do you do? Who are you? Where are you from? These are typical questions that we encounter. Depending on our experiences and identity formation these questions can at times bring about uncertainty. I will work to support you in standing firmly in how you self-identify.

  • Trauma Informed Care

My work is trauma informed and grounded in understanding that we uniquely experience impact. What one person experiences as impact or trauma may not be experienced as such by someone else.
